Data Deletion Instructions
We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. If you wish to have your account and all associated data deleted, please follow the instructions below.
How to Request Data Deletion
If you want to delete your Loc8ID account and all associated data, you have two options:

Automatic Deletion via Social Provider (if applicable):
- If you signed up using Facebook, Google, or another social provider, you can request deletion through that provider:
- Facebook: Log into Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → Find "Loc8ID" → Click Remove
- Google: Log into Google → My Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access → Find "Loc8ID" → Click Remove

Manual Request:
- Send an email to support@loc8id.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request"
- Include the following information:
- Your full name
- The email address associated with your account
- A clear statement requesting the deletion of your data
Processing Your Request
Upon receiving your request, we will:
- Acknowledge receipt within 1-2 business days
- Delete your account and all associated data from our systems within 30 days
- Confirm the deletion via email once the process is complete
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request data deletion, we will permanently remove:
- Your user account and profile information
- All Loc8IDs you have created
- All collections you have created
- Your analytics and usage data
- Your API keys and access tokens
- Any uploaded avatars or profile images
Important Notes
- Active Subscriptions: If you have an active subscription, please cancel it before requesting account deletion. You can do this in your account settings.
- Data Retention: Some data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., transaction records for accounting purposes).
- Irreversible Action: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please ensure you have exported any data you wish to keep before requesting deletion.
Remove App Permissions from Social Providers
If you signed up using a social provider, you can remove Loc8ID's permissions from your account:
- Facebook: Log into Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → Find "Loc8ID" → Click Remove
- Google: Log into Google → My Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access → Find "Loc8ID" → Click Remove
